In this compilation are four different demos, each under a different band name and genre/style, that I've been working on! As you can see, none of them have vocals... yet.
For context, An Intimate Gathering of Wolves is my post-hardcore/alternative rock/emo band. It's the furthest along of the four projects, as it actually has some members (my friends from high school, Chase and Devin). Our goal is to aim for stuff like Thrice, mewithoutYou, the Dear Hunter, and Movements, just to name a handful of our influences.
Circles of the Burial is my metalcore project. I'm thinking of starting somewhere along the lines of what's big now, with bands like Wage War, Fit for a King, Architects, and Ice Nine Kills, while gradually adding elements of different metalcore waves into the sound throughout its course.
Divine Defilement is the heaviest of the bunch, taking most of its influence from deathcore and death metal. For now, bands like Thy Art is Murder, Fit for an Autopsy, Enterprise Earth, and Lorna Shore are the biggest influences there, though I'm not against including more death metal elements, primarily technical or brutal, in the future.
The last project showcased here is Silver Aorta, a progressive metal project. My big influences there are bands like Opeth, Devin Townsend, Leprous, Gojira, Mastodon, and Between the Buried and Me, among many others. This project needs to be open to any and all directions: alternative metal, avant-garde metal, post-metal, stoner metal... or anything else. It's the most open-ended of the concepts.
If any of these demos interested anyone out there, feel free to reach out! I'm not a drummer nor am I a vocalist, keyboardist, or producer of any sort. I can't start these projects completely alone. If any vocalists, lyricists, or instrumentalists want to collaborate with me on any of these projects, I've got plenty more for each outside of what you hear here! Plus, check out each of the projects' individual YouTube and Instagram accounts if you want to reach out to a single specific one.
Thanks for listening! I hope to have more music soon!
Hi everyone! I guess this is my foray into music, huh? Well, for starters, I'm Zach Buddie. I've got quite an ambitious
hobby. Previously releasing music from my schools in Greenville, SC, I am now trying my hand at a home studio in West Point, NY. Take a gander at whatever I've cooked up in my dang ol' recording arts class in school.
